Frequently asked

What to know before you buy

Buying an appliance here doesn't work like buying one anywhere else — no shelf tags, no checkout pressure. A conversation, a spec review, and a quote built around your project. Most of the questions we're asked come down to how that process works, so here it is, in full.

Pricing & quotes

We price by conversation, not by ticket — because on appliances at this level, the honest number depends on the model, the program and your project.

Because a shelf tag would usually be wrong. Pricing on premium appliances moves with brand programs, bundle structures and the scope of delivery — a flat number on a page can't account for any of that. Send us the model you're considering and a specialist returns a real, current figure, along with anything worth knowing about availability before you commit.

Start from the quote form — it asks for the category, brand and model number so we can skip the back-and-forth. A specialist reviews current pricing and lead times for that exact model and replies by email. If you're mid-build, include your cabinetry dimensions or drawings; we check fit against the spec sheet as part of the same reply.

Yes. Multi-unit projects and repeat trade clients are quoted on their own terms — not the same numbers as a single-appliance purchase. Mention your firm and the scope of the project in the quote form, and we'll structure the conversation around your build schedule rather than a single delivery date.

There are — including free delivery on qualifying orders and savings on multi-appliance bundles. The current offers page lists every active promotion with its code and how to apply it.

A quote from us is a spec review, a delivery plan and a current price — not just a number in a box.

Delivery & installation

An appliance is only as good as the day it arrives. Ours arrive when your site is ready for them — placed, unwrapped and accounted for.

A scheduled window, careful handling from truck to room, placement exactly where the appliance will live, and packaging taken away with us. Floors and finished surfaces are protected along the route. What it doesn't involve: a box left in your driveway.

That's how we prefer it. Appliances shouldn't sit on a job site collecting drywall dust. We coordinate delivery around your build schedule — when cabinetry is in and the site is ready, your appliances arrive. Not the other way around.

Send us your drawings or cabinetry specs with your quote request. We review every dimension — width, depth, door swing, ventilation clearance — against the manufacturer's spec sheet before you commit to anything. Fit problems are cheap to solve on paper and expensive to solve on delivery day.

It depends on the category. Gas ranges, built-in refrigeration and ventilation need certified trades; freestanding pieces often don't. When we quote your model, we flag exactly what its installation requires so the right people are booked before the appliance arrives.

Brands & availability

We carry a deliberately short list of makers and know their catalogues by heart — which is exactly what you want when lead times and cabinetry are on the line.

A short list, on purpose: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Fisher & Paykel, Bosch and Midea — over 260 appliances across nine categories, from built-in refrigeration to laundry. Each brand earned its place for a specific reason, and a specialist can tell you exactly what that reason is.

It varies more than most retailers admit. Some everyday models ship quickly; hand-built refrigeration can carry a longer lead time. Your quote includes the current, honest lead time for your exact model — so you can sequence it against your renovation instead of guessing.

Always. Ask for the spec sheet with your quote and we'll send the manufacturer's full documentation — dimensions, clearances, electrical and ventilation requirements — and walk through it with you or your contractor.

Several of the refrigeration and dishwasher lines we carry are made to disappear behind cabinetry. Tell us about your millwork plans in the quote form and we'll point you to the integrated versions and what your cabinetmaker needs to know.

After the sale

The relationship doesn't end at the door. It starts there — and a real person answers when you call.

The same people who quoted you. Reach us through the contact page and a specialist — not a call centre — picks up the thread, whether it's a settings question the first week or a service question years later.

Every appliance we sell carries its manufacturer's warranty. If something needs attention, we help you route it to the brand's authorized service network rather than leaving you to navigate it alone. Keep your model and serial number handy; we can help you find both.

Yes. Grates, filters, trim kits, replacement shelving — if the brand makes it, we can chase it down. Send the model number and what you need through the contact page and we'll track down the correct part the first time.
